About: The Tessa Jowell Academy is the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission’s free national learning and networking platform connecting NHS brain tumour centres to collaborate and share excellence in treatment, research and care. The Academy offers bespoke features and content to empower all NHS healthcare professionals to learn and network with peers, with the overall aim of elevating the standards of brain tumour treatment and care nationally and improve the educational offering for professionals working with brain tumour patients. Feature include: monthly workshops, courses, skills training, a peer to peer connect service, a national clinical trials finder, a library of shared resources and much more!
Membership: Membership of the Tessa Jowell Academy is free NHS staff from brain tumour centres that have participated in the Centre of Excellence designation initiative, regardless of the outcome, or an affiliated centre. We encourage all specialties that work with brain tumour patients to register, as the Academy aims to be holistic and address sharing expertise within and between specialty groups. Membership of the Academy is also free to individuals from UK-based academic institutes (staff and students) and TJBCM’s partner organisations. Please register with your academic, NHS or organisation affiliated email address. Personal email addresses will not be accepted.
Membership provides access to:
- The Academy platform with a bespoke dashboard to track individual learning
- All courses (both in-person and online)
- A library of courses to watch on-demand (with options for CPD certificates)
- Networking across different disciplines of over 800 NHS professionals

See rates below.
