Overview

TJBCM is preparing to launch the first Tessa Jowell Paediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship, a new dedicated training opportunity for clinicians looking to build a specialist career in paediatric neuro-oncology.

The inaugural Fellowship will be hosted at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and University College London Hospitals (UCLH), with the Fellow expected to start in September 2027. Co-funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and GOSH Charity, the Fellowship will provide dedicated, protected time for specialist clinical training, research and cross-specialty learning, alongside opportunities for national engagement through TJBCM.

Applicants must be accepted onto, or be undertaking, GRID-equivalent training for Paediatric Oncology at the time of applying.

We are opening an Expression of Interest ahead of the full Fellowship launch to hear from clinicians who may be interested in applying and to keep prospective applicants informed as recruitment progresses. Registering your interest does not commit you to applying and is not part of the formal application or selection process.
